So Behind!

I am sorry for those of you who check this. I have not been very great about updating lately but it has been a crazy summer.
I will jump right into it. Will had some time off between jobs so we packed up the car and went to Aliceville for a week and Jacksonville for a week. Then, Will went to Montreat for two weeks and I went back to Jacksonville. We loved swimming in Jo Jo and Pop Pop's new pool and going to the beach in Florida and getting to spend time with all of our family and friends. So far, it has been a great summer. We have a zoo trip coming up, Jane is going to camp for a week and we will be celebrating my 30th and Jane's 2nd birthdays in August! Here are just SOME of the pictures of the past couple months. I didn't include any from the beach or Aliceville. I am sure you have already seen them on fb : )

My baby is 2 months old!

Girl Cousins: Gray (2 1/2), Lola (1), Emory (1), Jane (2..almost)

Boy Cousins: Phelps (2 months), Sutton (3....almost), Ford (7 months)

The whole gang

Got to love matching goldfish!

Loves her shades!

"Phelps, you awake?"

"Get up buddy!"

"I said, GET UP!"

A little brother smother!

So handsome in his Sunday best.

Queens!

PJ and Jane. This is one of my best friend from colleges son.

Phelps and PJ. Future fraternity brothers. I think 3 or 4 weeks apart.

Jane's outfit for the 4th of July parade. She got a lolly pop for best dressed!

Phelps is 3 months old. He rolled over both ways! Getting so big.

A sweet church member gave us these great onsies to mark different mile stone months.

Jane's new favorite place....Monkey Joes. We had to take Daddy and let him get in on the fun.

This was the reaction we got when we told her we had to leave.

One last ditch effort to get us to stay for, "6 minutes!"

Jane and I came home from swimming lessons on Saturday morning to find this! Daddy got cropped. Swimming lessons were supposed to be a Daddy and Jane thing. Daddy had other ideas when he told me I was better doing the lessons with Jane.

Phelps is here.....you all already know and now he is 1 month old!!

William Phelps Young IV made his sweet debut on April 20, 2011 at 4:31 p.m. He was 8 lbs 14 oz, 21 1/2 inches long....just perfect! He looks so much like Jane did, but with more hair and not as much cheek! We are in love with him and his big sister loves him even more. If you know or have ever met Jane you would have thought she would have had trouble being "dethroned," but she has actually been acting like even more of a big girl. It is amazing to me how much she has grown up since Phelps arrived.
Phelps is sleeping great, eating all of the time and is one smiley boy. This kid will never get in trouble with the smiles he gives us! We went to the Dr. today for his one month check up. He is 11 lbs 4 oz (90%) and 21 1/2 in. long (40%) still. Short and fat! He is bigger than his sister was at her 1 month check up!
While having two is twice the challenge I am loving every minute. We have jumped right back into our typical routine with play groups, trips to the mall, the store and visits to see Daddy at church! Phelps is just along for the ride and his sister loves showing off her little brother, "Selps," as she now calls him!
Here are some pics since the last time we updated!

Newborn. He had a rough day.

Jane's first time to see her baby brother. Yes, she is sitting in his hospital bed.

Gommy and Jane are so excited about, "Selps!" Yes, she is still in the bed.

Jane and Mommy loving on, "Buddy." One of Jane's nicknames for him. She wakes up every morning asking for her, "Buddy!" It melts my heart.

Caught a little grin.

After his first bath. So clean. His hair only will stay down for a second.

Jane thought this would be appropriate for Easter Sunday! Yes, I did take her to church.

Jane loves to hold Phelps in her, "Rap."

I bought this little Easter outfit for him. He doesn't think it is as cute as I do!

Sweet little carrot.

This is his Daddy's outfit. This was the only time he wore it. We are a little bigger than Daddy was.

We love our Pop Pop.

Diva.

It is impossible to get a picture of them together. This was the best I could do by myself for church last Sunday.

We love our tummy.

Here we are today!

It's Easter Time!

Here are Jane's Easter pictures from last year and this year. Oh what the difference a year makes! We are still waiting on Phelps's arrival. We will keep everyone posted.

Bald and so chubby! I could just squeeze the thighs.

Such a big girl! She moved the bow I tried to position in the little bit of hair she has now! She kept telling the lady with the bunnies she needed two. Obviously, she didn't get her way.

The King's and Queen's Rooms

It has been awhile since our last post. We have been diligently working on getting everything squared away for Phelps, out of town and just flat out busy! I am not sure where this year is going but I don't think it is going to slow down for a second.
If you haven't heard, Will received a job offer to be the Director of Music at First Presbyterian in Charlotte. We are excited to start this new chapter and thrilled we get to stay in Charlotte! We went and toured the pre-school yesterday and let's just say Jane is READY (I am going to throw it in here that Mommy is ready too)! She got her school bag and it is bigger than she is but she wouldn't let us touch it.
I thought I would just post a few pictures of the kids rooms since they are both complete. As we finish rooms in our house (the never ending project) I am going to try and post pictures.
So here they are.....

Jane's Room (obviously)

It took me a year to finish the pictures above her bed. They are from newborn, 3m, 6m, 9m and 12m. She changed so much in one year. It is sad how fast it flies.

Phelps's Room

I took a picture of Jane's clothes and these are Phelps's. No pink, although Will's comment was, "Why are there dresses in my son's closet?" They are called day gowns honey!

How Jane got P! One of the only letters we know.

The letters spell his name if you can't see them and I will add pictures in the frames once he gets here!

Couple of Jane from the past few months.

Her new shades

Jane has figured out how to turn on her light from her crib. She has a party for a little bit after we leave and then she passes right on out! We had to snap a picture of her on her "pippo."

Jane before church.
