An Announcement...

It has been awhile since we last posted. I feel like things are even more busy now that the school year has started. I am going to have to go to my calendar to write this so I can be sure to include everything.
First things first. The Young family is expanding! Baby # 2 is due April 25th. Now, you probably haven't looked that far into your calendar yet, but that is the day after Easter. For Will, that is his BUSIEST time of the year. Please pray for a well timed and safe delivery as he has already said he HAS to be at church. I told him he HAS to be at the hospital regardless or he will be sleeping at the church from Easter until......hahahahahahaha! He was kidding for those of you who don't know Will.
Another big happening in our house was Jane's 1st birthday, which completely overshadowed mommies 29th birthday (I didn't care though, she is most important). You would have thought it was her wedding with all of the commotion, but it ended up being a cute pool party with 35 of her closest friends. She LOVED her cake, but she didn't soak up the attention like we thought she would. I think was a little embarrassed. Her party had everything. The best food, precious decor, adorable fans that Jo Jo had made for her and delicious cookies to give away as favors.
For her birthday Jo Jo and Pop Pop gave her swimming lessons, along with a really fun pink trike. Well, we had our first swimming lesson on Tuesday and let me tell you what, Jane is going to learn to swim. She was dunked 15 times before we left. I am not going to say she loved it but she will learn to swim and mommy is super excited. She did great! Her teacher couldn't believe how much she was doing on her first visit.
As one of Granmommy's gifts, she gave her Kindermusik classes. Jane has missed Mrs. Betsy so we are going to see her next week!
Here are the pics!

These are Jane's "big girl" friends. Or her older sisters who take such good care of her. Marshall, Scottie, CeCe and Sumner.

She got into her cake.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We love some sweets.

Do you see those teeth? We finally had some by our first birthday.

The watermelon and the Chick-fil-a nuggets were the biggest hits. Who doesn't love nuggets and watermelon?

Our spread.

Silver trays at a 1 year olds party. I know.

Our birthday princess.

Telling everyone she is going to be a big sister. She wore this when our family arrived to Charlotte. Everyone got it by Granmommy. She thought we were joking.....AGAIN!

I found Jane hiding in my bathroom closet. She kept opening the door and bouncing out. She knew she was funny.

This is/ was Jane's favorite outfit. We have worn it so much it has a hole in it. Every time Jane saw this in the laundry pile she would throw everything off to get to it and she would want me to put it on. It had to go to laundry heaven but we will miss this one. How do you like the jellies to go with it. Jo Jo does it come in size 2??

This was just a cute morning before church. I loved this dress on her too.
